Shri 1008 Shri Shantinath Digamber Jain Mandir Atishaya Kshetra, Village Bamotar, District - Pratapgarh (Rajasthan)

Digamber Jain Atishaya Kshetra, Bamotar, Pratapgarh The main idol of Bhagwaan Ajitnath was installed in the year 1656. The Temple also has a beautiful Idol of Bhagwan Chandraphrabu. It is believed that in the year 1856 when an Idol of Lord Parswanath was planned to be installed in the Temple. The idol was 5 feet in height and heavy, and since the Temple Entrance door was small, it was difficult to carry the idol inside. Then Bhattrak Hemacharya went on a fast for three days and requested the idol to be installed. Later when the idol was lifted, its became almost weightless and so did the size. The idol could be easily installed in the Temple. The temple underwent renovation in 1960.
