Shwetamber Jain Temple in Egara, Patan This Jinalaya is 400 years oldand built by Amichand Soni. Mulnayak is Shri Adeshwarji, 31" high, with a silver umbrella + on its left is Shri Shantinath + on its right is ShriParashvnath. There are 9 marble pratimas + 25 Dhatu pratimas + 25" Panchtirthi Dhatu pratima. This Jinalaya is famous for its wood carvings & its colour painting. This original colour still is vibrant & looks fresh, even today. The event of marriage procession of Shri Neminath is attractively painted. Every image / murti is carved SEPARATELY in wood & hen it is set in the composition of the procession.Jinalay dome is full of appreciative carved work. Life of Shri Neminath is emotionally depicted in the wooden panels. The procession of hri Neminath + his marriage festival + Rajul devi's palace + Shatrunjaya & Girnar paintings etc - All are artisticaly carved by the sculptors. This is MUST SEE as currently one cannot find such wood en carved panels. The administration of this Jinalaya is managed by Shri Jayantilal Popatlal Shah, Shri Sureshbhai Nemchand Shah, Shri Yogeshbhai Vrajlal Shah & Shri Pravinbhai Mafatlal Shah.
