Shri Sambhavnath Jain Shwetamber Mandir, Vatera, District - Sirohi (Rajasthan)

Shwetamber Jain Temple in Vatera, Sirohi On the seat of Bhagawan’s parikar, there is an inscription of the year 1171 of the Vikram era and according to it Bhagwan Mahavir was Mulnayak. At the time of a certain renovation, perhaps the idol of Bhagawan Shantinath was installed. This tirth is believed to belong to a period earlier than the twelfth century. The last renovation was accomplished in the year 2022 of the Vikra era. The idol of Bhagawan Shambavnath was installed under the auspices of Vijayjinendrasurisvarji. Even today it is there as Mulnayak. A flag is hoisted on the temple on the third day of the bright half of the month of Jeth every year.
